Java Exif Viewer description
JexifViewer is a project for viewing Exif informations stored in JPG files written by most digital cameras

JexifViewer is a project for viewing Exif informations stored in JPG files written by most digital cameras. JexifViewer will list Exif tags in a table for comparing pictures.

JExifViewer has an image viewer in which you can rotate and/or flip, zoom in/out the selected image. You can also print an image.

Images can be displayed in a slideshow (up, down, random, loop). You can also rename, copy, move and delete images.

At the moment JExifViewer is localized in English and German. If you want to do some translations please contact me!

A short online help is available for JExifViewer and can be accessed in the program by pressing the F1 key.

Requirements:

· Java runtime (JRE) 1.5 or better


What's New in This Release:

· RPM and DEB packages for Linux systems
· Automatic and manual check for new versions
· Better image preloading in slideshow mode
· Shortcut for slideshow start/stop is now F4 and should work
· Bug fix for slideshow random mode
· Some tunings for smarter garbage collection (fixed size heap and incremental garbage collection)
· Language selection bug fix
· Launcher application (jstart) improved
· Linux shell script for starting was improved
· Code cleanup (stuff used by other applications are moved in the shared package)
