Photo DVD Creator

As its title suggests, Photo DVD Creator is a program that allows you to convert image files to a DVD.

Although the interface of the software is intuitive and simple to navigate through, it still needs some upgrades since it's outdated.

There are three easy steps you need to follow here. In the first one you can import photos into your new album by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

Plus, you can adjust their settings when it comes to brightness, contrast, gamma and color balance. Also, you can rotate and flip these pictures.

You can add several image effects which include zoom and turn, as well as captions and music from your hard drive.

In the secondary step, you can configure menu options. For example, the background image of the menu can be a template or a file from your computer. Moreover, you can adjust the same picture settings as in the previous step, as well as add text and a soundtrack.

Last but not least, you can burn a video DVD (set the drive, speed and disc name), build a DVD folder or ISO (set the output folder and optionally save the ISO file), create an MPEG file or burn a DVD folder or ISO.

In the "Settings" area, you can specify the video format (NTSC or PAL) and working folder, as well as modify album options regarding image cutting and amplitude, along with photo and transition duration.

The program takes a reasonable amount of time to finish a task while using moderate system resources. But other processes clearly run slower in the background. It also includes a brief help file and manages to keep a very good image quality in the DVD.

However, the interface needs a makeover and more features should be integrated (e.g. more image settings and transitions). Nevertheless, Photo DVD Creator gets the job done and we suggest you test it for yourself.
