Photo Dater is a simple-to-use application that enables you to display dates on image files.

This is a portable product, so installing Photo Dater is not necessary. You can simply place it on a removable device and run the executable file on any computer. More importantly, your Windows registry entries will remain unchanged.

The interface of the tool is plain and simple. You can import media by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method (batch processing is also supported).

So, you can use the date from the file or specify your own, as well as change the color and font of the date.

Furthermore, you can select the position of the date between top left or right, bottom left of right, or custom (set the X and Y coordinates).

The program takes up a very small amount of system CPU and memory, and quickly completes a task without freezing or crashing.

A help file is not available but that's because Photo Dater is extremely easy to use, by both novices and experienced individuals. One error popped up during our tests, whenever we accessed the file browser and pressed the "Cancel" button. But that didn't interfere with the overall functionality of Photo Dater.

All in all, Photo Dater is a program that comes packed with the basic elements for placing dates on image files. But more advanced graphic editing tools usually have this feature built-in. Also, the interface could welcome some improvements. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend Photo Dater to all users.
