A regular keyboard is fitted with most functions you need for basic computer use, including one to capture activity on the screen in the form of a picture. On the bright side, there’s the possibility to completely rely on hotkey commands, but these can’t be changed if already assigned to other programs, or even Windows functions. You can either capture activity on the entire screen, or simply drag a box around a region of interest, with feedback instantly brought up in a simple window frame.

The associated tray icon comes with a few options of its own. For instance, you can choose the default picture export format, which can be JPG or PNG. There’s an option to have files automatically saved so the preview screen doesn’t show up, which is neat for consecutive operations.
