This unobtrusive tool runs quietly in your system tray, so it doesn’t interfere with your work. When called upon, it reveals several configuration settings to tinker with.
Functionality and online accounts
As soon as you take a snapshot using keyboard shortcuts, the utility automatically generates a link which is copied to the clipboard. You can easily paste the URLs in the desired online service.
In order to use puush you need to create an online account which offers you some extra functions. puush automatically saves your images into your account and lets you organize your photos into a public, private, or gallery mode. Additionally, you can perform search operations.
Built-in capturing modes
puush gives you the possibility to capture the full screen, current window, or a user-defined area of the screen. The capturing process can be carried out using preset hotkeys and you can also reassign them or a better control over the entire process.
What’s more, you are allowed to alter the keyboard shortcuts for uploading files, activating or disabling the utility’s functions, as well as uploading the clipboard content.
Other notable configuration settings worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to run the app at Windows startup, play sound notifications, copy the link to the clipboard, open the link in web browser, as well as save the snapshots to your computer and select the saving directory.
Last but not least, the tool is able to show the settings panel, activate the screen capturing mode, or open the upload file panel when you perform a double-click operation on the program’s icon from the system tray.
Advanced parameters and output results
puush comes packed with several powerful functions that help you compress images, embed a context menu entry for accessing the utility’s functions with ease, as well as capture all screens, the screen containing the mouse cursor, or always capture the primary desktop.
During our testing we have noticed that Push carries out a task quickly and provides very good image quality. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
All in all, puush brings several handy functions and a straightforward approach for helping you take snapshots and generate URLs, as well as upload files.
