AKVIS ArtWork

AKVIS ArtWork is a professional software application whose purpose is to help you transform your digital photos into paintings with the aid of special painting styles, such as oil, watercolor, comics, pen and ink, gouache, linocut, and pastel.

You can use this utility as a standalone program or as a plugin for a photo editor, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Paint Shop Pro, and others.

You are welcomed by a clean feature lineup that allows you to set up most of the parameters with minimal effort, thanks to the built-in sliders. It also offers additional information about each feature, which is displayed in a dedicated panel, so you can easily get acquainted to the program’s functions.

You can check the preview option for analyzing how the picture looks like before and after the adjustments.

The tool works with the following file formats: CRW, RAW, ORF, NEF, DNG, MOS, PNG, JPG, TIFF, and others. Files can be dragged and dropped directly into the primary panel.

AKVIS ArtWork gives you the possibility to choose between several preset options, and you are allowed to manually adjust each parameter in case it doesn’t fit your preferences. Depending on the effects that your want to apply to your pictures (e.g. oil, watercolor, comics), you can adjust the saturation, stroke intensity, blurring option, density, sharpen, as well as other parameters.

What’s more, you can use the smudge tool for adding a personal touch to your images, insert signatures and customize the text in terms of size, font, color, and location, and add canvas so the generated image looks as if it was drawn on plain paper.

It is important to mention that the program offers support for batch operations, which means you can add multiple images and process them at the same time.

Last but not least, you can switch to a full screen mode, undo or redo your actions, zoom in or out, print or export the edited photos to JPG, PNG, BMP, or TIFF file format, share items on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or other online platforms, as well as save the edited image as a preset, so you can upload it in your future projects.
