ArcSoft PhotoBase is a simple-to-use application which allows you to easily manage your multimedia files in a user-friendly environment.
If you're using Windows 7, then make sure to run ArcSoft PhotoBase with administrative rights. Otherwise, an error will prevent you from accessing the tool.
The interface of ArcSoft PhotoBase is plain and simple. Thanks to the Explorer-based layout, you can easily navigate within your files to locate media.
So, you can preview images and videos, rotate photographs, rename files, attach audio annotations and view file properties (e.g. EXIF information).
In addition, you can get photos from a scanner, take snapshots (window, client area, full screen), create a new album or duplicate an existing one, as well as edit images (e.g. crop, resize, enhance, draw, text, reduce red eye).
Furthermore, you can sort and filter files, change the thumbnail size, use a search function and tools for batch-rename, convert or resize, synchronize files, export text to clipboard, customize field names, create a slideshow or HTML web album, and more.
ArcSoft PhotoBase runs on a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, has a very good response time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Unfortunately, we were not able to access the help file. Moreover, the tool's interface is slightly outdated. Other than that, we strongly recommend ArcSoft PhotoBase to all users.
