Experience your photos in a totally new way…in HD on your TV

Ashampoo Slideshow Studio is a user-friendly program that you can use to create slideshows from pictures.
The interface of the program is intuitive and easy to navigate through. You can use the wizard to start a new project.
So, you can select the preferred aspect ratio of your project and import images (file browser or "drag and drop" method).
But you can also sort images alphanumerically, by date of creation or modification, in ascending or descending order.
Furthermore, you can add text, shapes and additional pictures, select transitions (e.g. blocks, fall, slide over, start, sweep, flip, white out), choose a theme, as well as insert logos, subtitles and music.
In addition, you can create opening and ending credits, insert circular text and shapes, bring an image to front or send it to back, rotate and flip pictures, zoom in and out, use the undo and redo functions as well as apply effects (e.g. diagonal pan, zoom in).
Once you are satisfied with the results, you can save the slideshow to file or burn it to disk, in the AVI, MPG, M2TS or WMV format. Plus, you can select a format profile, quality, file size and output destination.
The program uses a very high amount of system resources when it is performing a task and can take a while to complete it. But the image and sound have an excellent quality. There's also a well-written help file that you can check out.
We had expected Ashampoo Slideshow Studio to come up with a wide range of photos and transitions but that didn't happen. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend this tool to all users, regardless of their experience level.
