BlackMagic Professional Ed. is the ultimate tool for colorizing Black & White, Sepia, or IR (infrared) photos, or for color-correcting/ re-coloring ones with dull, faded, or inappropriate hues.
Being extremely simple to use, yet equipped with sophisticated features, it's a software that provides an unprecedented level of productivity for any photo-restoration job requiring colorization or color-corrections.
The resulting photos have optimally saturated and consistent, correct hues - giving the appearance as if the photo had originally been 'shot' in color!
BlackMagic does not require selection of specific color parameters such as hue, opacity, saturation, etc. - the operator simply identifies the 'type of object' to be colorized.
BlackMagic then automatically performs the needed calculations to dynamically vary all required color parameters based on the content of the photograph and Neural Net based algorithms - in the background.
BlackMagic Professional Edition allows processing of images at virtually unlimited resolution (limited by a computer's resources only), unlimited number of colorization layers, working in either zoom'ed in/ out state, and user-defined derivative Custom Palettes based on the pre-configured Neural Net based object palettes.
The Custom Palettes may be saved as external ".bcp" files for later use, or to exchange with, share or sell to other BlackMagic Professional users.
Requirements:
· PC w/ Keyboard, and hard-disk with minimum 5 MB free space for the program.
· High resolution pointing device such as a mouse, pen/ tablet, etc.
· Color Monitor + Graphics card capable of minimum 800 X 600 display at 16 bit [for BE/ PE a fast Graphics sub-system capable of 1024 x 768 upwards resolution at 32/24 bit Color depth, and min. 32MB Video RAM is recommended].
· Minimum 24MB memory [128MB+ recommended for BE, or 500MB+ for PE] [actual memory required will also depend upon the size of the image]
· Hi Resolution Scanner [OPTIONAL] to scan images
· Printer [OPTIONAL] capable of Color photographic quality output.
Limitations:
· Image size is limited to a maximum of around 500,000 pixels; larger ones are automatically scaled down, while maintaining the original aspect.
· Hard-copy prints carry a BlackMagic logo, and are limited to half the size of the loaded image.
· The trial license expires 10 days after the installation.
