Capture NX is an advanced application for simpler and more intuitive full-scale digital image processing and editing

This download is an update only installer, and will update existing versions 1.0.0 - 1.2.0 to version 1.3.0. Any version from v1.0 - 1.2 must be installed before performing this update.

Important Note: If you receive an error message mentioning an "incorrect region" (or similar) while installing this update, then you will need to uninstall your current version of Capture NX software, and download and install from the link below. Please have your activation code ready before removing your current version. After downloading and installing the new version 1.2.0, please continue with the update.

Here are some key features of "Nikon Capture NX":

· NEF, TIFF and JPEG file support - realizes the full potential of NEF files and non-destructive editing.
· U Point technology - simplifies selection and isolation of all or chosen areas of an image to be enhanced.
· Show selection - shows image areas to be adjusted in reverse black-and-white view for easy, accurate control.
· Edit list - helps photographers track, cancel or add new modifications to an image.
· Image browser - comes with the advanced functions including labeling, sorting and editing and makes quick adjustments directly through each image thumbnail.
· Batch processing - enhances multiple images automatically by applying a user-selected series of adjustments to several images at once.
· Selective tools - include Brush, Lasso and Marquee (four kinds), Gradient and Fill/Remove, for positive or negative application of enhancements.
· Color management control - advances control of how colors of an image correspond to colors that a printer can produce.
· Multifunctional versatility - inherits such advanced Nikon Capture functions including Color Aberration Control, D-Lighting, Image Dust Off, Vignette Control and Fisheye-to-Rectilinear Image Transformation.
· Improved noise reduction - based on the latest, most advanced Nikon algorithms.
· Distortion control - reduces pincushion and barrel distortion effects.
· Nikon Total Imaging System compatibility - expands the world of Nikon photography even further beyond conventional limits.

· Support for RAW NEF images taken with the D3 and D300 has been added.
· Support for Picture Control has been added.
· APicture Control item has been added to Camera Adjustments in the Base Adjustments. The Color Mode, Tone Compensation, Saturation and Sharpening items have been moved to the new Picture COntrol item.
· An Active D-Lighting item has been added to RAW adjustments in the Base Adjustments,and Sodium Vapor Lamps and High Temperature Mercury Vapor (7200K) settings have been added.
· RAW images can now be saved with lossless compression. Images captured in lossless-compressed RAW format can now be saved in lossless-compressed RAW format, regardless of camera model.(Limited to use with images captured with Nikon digital-SLR cameras).
· The Vignette Control function, which was previously for use only with RAW images, is now supported with JPEG and TIFF images. (Limited to use with images captured by Nikon digital -SLR cameras).
· The function for modifying images captured with a fisheye lens, available in Lens Adjustments in the Base Adjustments, is now compatible with images captured with the AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D.
· Features for editing RAW images, previously available in the Camera Settings palette, have been eliminated.
