Cartoonist

Cartoonist is a program that lets you add some funny effects to your images. It supports the JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF formats.

The interface of the application is plain and simple. You can import an image by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported.

You can warp parts of the picture and adjust the warp radius, as well as set the background color. But settings can be restored to their default values.

You can zoom in and out, fit the image to window or view its actual size, resize photos, use the undo and redo functions, and reset the picture to its initial state.

You can change the interface appearance, as well as disable Cartoonist from asking you to overwrite files that already exist. The application runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a complete user documentation with snapshots for beginners and didn't freeze or crash during our tests.

However, we were not able to access the animated tutorial and Cartoonist popped several errors. But this didn't interfere with the overall functionality of the tool. As you can see, Cartoonist only offers one funny effect and that's not enough. Even it can be easily used by rookies, we suggest you look for something a little more advanced.
