If you're in the market for a photo editor and you just came across this software solution, you may be surprised. And not in a good way unfortunately.
DreamLight Photo Editor is an application supposed to bring a bunch of effects on your photos, and although most of us would expect something absolutely astonishing, it's not.
The program does have an impressive lineup of photo effects, but they all look a bit unprofessional and they're far from the things you could do in Photoshop for example.
In fact, the whole app seems to be addressed to beginners, because even the interface is designed to be simple and easy to use.
You just have to open the photo and click on the effects listed on the left side of the app, be they weather, gradient, color, art, texture, dream A or B, stars, edge A or B.
The result can be seen in real time and takes just a second to apply the effect but, once again, chances are that you won't be impressed at all.
You have the option to save the photo in two different formats, JPG and BMP, with absolutely no compression or quality settings.
Besides the fact that it can hardly create a professional looking photo, DreamLight Photo Editor is also quite expensive and you must pay for unlocking its full powers if you intend to use it beyond the 30-day trial period.
All in all, DreamLight Photo Editor is just a waste of time and money, in case you think that buying a full license would be a good idea. But, as always, you can give it a try to see what it's up to.
