GIF Construction Set Professional

Animations come in all shapes and sizes, and thanks to the advent of the GIF image format, such elements were for the first time available in picture format, and not video. Regardless of the intended use of these, if you wish to create your own, having the right means to do so can be essential.

There are loads of ways to create GIF images, and even online platforms and providers that offer such functionality. GIF Construction Set Professional, however, aims to provide a dedicated desktop client for such endeavors.

Right from the start, I did not enjoy the input modus operandi of GIF Construction Set Professional, and despite having a rather straightforward way of adding the preferred images, once these have been added, the main visualizer area offers no logical preview sequence.

More precisely, the provided interface and corresponding layout do not offer a good overview of the resulting GIF sequence, and I feel that a timeline-based approach would have been a far better choice for working with the added image data.

If I criticized on the app’s prowess regarding the data input and image handling, I have to praise its secondary editing features, which seem to address a range of related tasks.

This offers an enhanced degree of versatility to the app, allowing users to perform edits and other image processing tasks right from within the app, as well as access exporting features.

Despite carrying an inherently simple way of adding the image data, coupled with a strange image sequence preview, GIF Construction Set Professional manages to pack a punch in terms of extra functionality, and this can save on its capabilities regarding GIF image creation.
