GML Undistorter is created for correcting lens distortions, which occur especially when taking pictures.
This 'barrelling' distortion effect occurs often both in amateur and professional photography. It allows to easily eliminate camera distortion in one's photos.
This software uses an algorithm for estimating the expected distortion from the EXIF information, included in JPEG files produced by most modern cameras. If the EXIF information is not available the user needs to enter the focal length this picture was taken with (at least approximately).
If the estimated distortion is not exact, the user can adjust the correction manually with the Fine tune slider.
