Photo Toolkit is an application that you can use to view and make adjustments to your image files.
The interface of the software is simple and intuitive, thanks to the Explorer-based layout that you can use to locate and access pictures.
So, you can zoom in and out, fit the image to screen, rotate it left and right, as well as use the undo and redo functions.
When it comes to effects, you can remove red eye and enhance colors (automatically or manually by setting brightness, contrast, gamma levels and others).
But you can also apply denoise (e.g. set luminance and color denoise strength, crispness, deblur image and transform images into cartoons by using warping effects.
Furthermore, you can use a makeup plugin, adjust the lighting effects and add 3D relief, as well as straighten or crop the image. Once you are satisfied with the results, you can save the picture in the JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF or TIFF format.
The application takes up a low-to-moderate quantity of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots for beginners and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests.
On the other hand, we would have liked the possibility of applying more filters to pictures, such as grayscale, black and white or sepia. Nevertheless, Photo Toolkit is simple to use by individuals of any experience level and we strongly recommend it.
