Photo Wizard 1.2
A tool which helps you to import pictures from digital cameras, scanners, from the Internet or your PC and edit them
The interface of the tool is plain and easy to work with. Pictures can be imported by using only the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' method is not supported. You can get images from the hard drive, webcam or other TWAIN-compatible photo capturing device.
So, you can crop or resize the image, add captions, make modifications (e.g. brightness, contrast) and apply effects (e.g. sharpen, blur, emboss, remove red eye).
Additionally, you can set a picture as a wallpaper, rename items, add frames, create a sports card or greeting card, edit comments, copy items to the Clipboard, print labels and publish pictures to the web.
The piece of software quickly makes image modifications while using a low amount of CPU and system memory. It is very responsive and includes a help file. No error dialogs have been displayed in our tests and Photo Wizard did not freeze or crash; we haven't found any problems.
On the downside, the interface needs some improvements and you cannot minimize Photo Wizard to the system tray or toggle between multiple languages. However, Photo Wizard can be easily handled, thanks to its user-friendly layout.
