PhotoGrid 1.0.0 Build 102
A simple Java-based utility that was especially created in order to provide a means of creating image grids with minimal efforts
is the name of this lightweight utility that can perform some arrangements and a bit of editing so that all your digital pictures will look more appealing when they are together. The nice interface provides quick access to all the functions of the software and offers a quite ample canvas for you to put images side by side.
The friendly GUI enables you to add as many pictures as you need and either use the 'Auto Arrange' feature, or make the groupings yourself. Thus, you can opt for any number of rows you need and set the value for the distance between the images, or padding space.
Another adjustment you can perform with PhotoGrid involves the modification of the picture edges, more precisely the corner rounding, which will make the selected photos look a bit more stylish in the collage.
If you wish to further personalize the lot of images, you have the possibility to add a border that applies to all the elements on the grid. Unfortunately, you cannot choose among several edge models and the only customization you can add applies to the border's thickness or width.
As easy to use as it may be and apart from the fact that the feature set is somewhat limited, PhotoGrid is unable to save the resulting pictures in a graphical format recognized universally. Instead, you will get some files that can only be opened with this tool, something that may lead away many potential users.
