The Scrolling LED Bitmap Generator is a small tool to create animated gifs. As of version 2 it is completely rewritten in C#.NET.
During the installation the setup will check if you have the .NET framework installed. If the .NET framework isn't installed, the setup will ask you if you wish to install the .NET framework now.
Two color sets for the LEDs and 3 fonts are installed.
Here are some key features of "Scrolling LED Bitmap Generator":
· Allows generation of animated GIFs directly.
· Use a background image on which the LEDs will be projected.
· Optional generation of bitmaps that can be combined into an animated GIF by a 3rd party tool to allow for greater control over the animated GIF.
· Preview with controllable update speed.
· 3 different ways to scroll the text. With advanced options to customize the effect
· Optional after effect to enhance (or screw up ;) the effect), with additional options to further customize the effect.
· Variable width
· Height set automatically through font selection.
· Create new fonts of varying height.
· Create new graphic layouts through new color sets that specify border and LEDOn/LEDOff indication, and 4 more colors that can be used.

· Font and color used the last time are remembered and restored when the program is started again.
· Minor UI layout changes
· Fixed problem where frame times where ignored, and the animated gif used 0.1 sec for each frame.
· Fixed problem with duplicate frames removal.
· Fixed bug when using 'background image' modification without a background image would cause the application to crash.
· Preview in font editor is updated immediatly after selecting a different color.
