Foto Trimmer

As the name of this software implies, Foto Trimmer allows you to trim photographs. But you can perform other operations as well, such as resizing. The tool can be easily handled by all user levels.

The interface of the application is plain and simple to navigate through. Images can be imported via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported (not on Windows 7, at least). Batch processing is not allowed.

You can scale, stretch, squish, rotate or flip the picture, set a fixed size, expand or contract the trim area, add frames and make color adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast, color angle, fade).

On top of that, you can preview the original and edited image, send it via email, use the cut and copy functions, change the unit type, zoom in and out, switch to full screen mode, choose the selection method and background, and more.

The image processing tool takes up a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly applies modifications and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. We haven't come across any technical difficulties. Unfortunately, there is no help file available and the interface is outdated. We recommend Foto Trimmer with some reservations.
