HMK Exif Viewer

HMK Exif Viewer is a feather-light and portable application you can use to read the EXIF information of your photographs obtained from your digital camera. It offers support for JPEG, TIFF and EXIF file format.

Since there's no setup pack involved, you can save the downloaded files to a custom directory on the HDD and just double-click the .exe to launch it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers. It doesn't add new entries to the Windows registry or create files on the disk without your permission.

It's wrapped in a user-friendly interface made from a large window with a simple design, menu bar and status bar. After opening a photo with EXIF info, you can check out all containing details, such as EXIF size, byte order, image description, or camera make and model.

Other info focuses on the date and time, artist, copyright, IDF pointer, compression, X and Y resolution, exposure time, ISO speed ratings, metering mode, flash, focal length, sensing method, white balance, scene capture type, and so on.

This data can be extracted and saved in binary or plain text format. Alternatively, you can extract the image thumbnail and save to .thm format.

As far as program settings are concerned, you can customize the toolbar and GUI font, as well as make file associations. Keyboard shortcuts are supported and they can be remapped.

We haven't come across any problems in our tests, since HMK Exif Viewer didn't freeze, crash or indicate errors. It used minimal system resources. Thanks to its advanced and intuitive options, HMK Exif Viewer should come in handy to users looking to view and extract EXIF information.
