Metafile Companion

Metafile Companion is a Windows software application whose purpose is to help you create or edit WMF and EMF files.

The GUI looks pretty simple and places the editing tools at your fingertips. You can access a help manual in case you need extra information about the tool’s capabilities.

WMF and EMF files can be added in the working environment using the built-in browse button or drag-and-drop support. You may hide or show a grid and zoom in or out of the image.

Metafile Companion comes packed with basic editing tools for defining your drawings, namely line, polyline, rectangle, circle, polygon, and arc. You can also insert user-defined text messages which can be customized in terms of size, font, alignment, and bold, italic or underline options.

What’s more, you are allowed to cut, copy, paste, or delete objects, undo or redo your actions, bring objects to the front or send them to the back, resize them, as well as move them to the desired position using the drag-and-drop support.

The tool gives you the possibility to trim the photo, make the background area of the selected object transparent, fill in areas with different colors, adjust the style, width and color of lines, specify the size of the image, as well as print the photos.
