Essentially, metadata contains information about a file’s title, description, place, date and time. These details are especially important in photography, where most images contain metadata about the information collected from sensory devices and cameras.

One software solution that can help you read and change the metadata of certain images is Metalith. It allows you to view all the metadata contained by an image file, then easily edit it.

The application displays you detailed information extracted from the metadata contained by various image files. The information can be about image title, artist, camera device or location.

You can create detailed reports about the information contained by each metadata file. This way, you can easily analyze and change information about each characteristic of a photo. Reports can be opened in your browser, exported to other applications, or printed.

It had minimal impact on the computer's performance in our evaluation and worked smoothly on Windows 10.
