editor's review

Mosamic is a user-friendly and intuitive piece of software developed to offer you an easy means of creating a mosaic of pictures from your last holiday, so you can have them all on display, at the same time.

The program is very simple to install, featuring no noteworthy events. When the installation process is finished, you can launch Mosamic and begin working with it right away.

The main window of the application allows you to start creating a mosaic or decide which will be the 'Tiles Library' which Mosamic will use in generating your final image. It is advisable that you choose a folder which comprises a large number of pictures, so the utility can have sufficient material to work with.

The 'Mozaic Wizard' tool will guide you step by step throughout the process of creating your mosaic. First, you will need to choose the photo you wish to use as basis, and Mosamic supports several formats, for instance PNG, JPEG, XMP, or JPG.

Furthermore, you can opt for one of two different types of mosaic, namely 'Photo Mosaic' or 'Color Mosaic', with a sample image being displayed to enable you to view the difference between the two. After selecting the one you prefer, you can set the number of tiles to be used, by means of a slider; a visual representation of the tiles is provided.

In this step, you also have the option of adjusting Mosamic's 'Advanced Settings', referring to the size, quality, and other details about the output file. Finally, you can press the 'Create Mosaic image' button and your picture will be generated, allowing you to save it to any of the supported formats.

To summarize, Mosamic is an interesting and easy to use application that enables you to place all your favorite holiday photos on display, through a single, mosaic image comprising them all.
