Print Screen Deluxe

As the name of this software suggests, Print Screen Deluxe allows you to take screenshots of your monitor, and you can do this in several methods.

The interface of the program is plain and pretty simple to work with. In order to take a snapshot, simply press the "Print Screen" button or the correspondent keyboard shortcut (this hotkey can be changed).

But you can also enable Print Screen Deluxe to capture the window, active window, clipboard images, selected region or text within a window, as well as to use a basic selection method, create a movie of events as they happen on the computer, and more.

You can change the snapshot output destination, enable the tool to automatically print the screen to a printer and to copy the screen to the clipboard, include the mouse cursor, use time delay, play sounds, automatically invert the colors of the image, and others.

Print Screen Deluxe also allows you to edit your pictures by adding text, corners, shadows and arrows. Plus, you can resize images and apply various effects (e.g. contrast, sharpen, grayscale, saturation, mosaic, watercolor, emboss), zoom in and out, use the cut, copy, paste and undo functions, and more.

The application takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, can guide you to a complete help file with snapshots online, has a fair response time and didn't freeze or crash during our tests. Putting aside the slightly outdated interface, we strongly recommend Print Screen Deluxe to all users.
