SAAB 1.6

Creates static and animated sprites compatible with 320x200x8-bit VGA graphics
The SAAB application was designed to be a small unility that creates static and animated sprites compatible with 320x200x8-bit VGA graphics. Sprites are small images used mainly in games or demo programs.

SAAB provides tools to paint (pen, line, ellipse, fill, etc.), manipulate (clipboard, undo/redo, so-called "onion-skin") and animate such images. Maximal image size is 50x50 pixels.

Usage notes:
The interface is similar to Windows. The [OTHER] button displays a second set of painting tools. The [MISC] button displays the main menu. The image menu appears by clicking on small image preview at the bottom-right corner of the screen. The image menu's [REMOVE] command applies only to the last image.

Modified images are saved as three separate files. *.SPR contains all the images written continously left-to-right and top-to-bottom. The second one - *.SPM is a map file where each image is written as: WORD width, WORD height, DWORD offset in corresponding *.SPR file. The *.SFL file contains RLE-compressed images.
