Slide Show Movie Maker is a program that allows you to create an Audio Video Interleave movie from BMP and JPG pictures. It can be easily used, even by inexperienced individuals.

This is a portable application, so installing Slide Show Movie Maker is not required. It means that you can store the tool on removable device, store it to any computer and directly run its executable file.

More importantly, no changes are made to the Windows registry and no leftover items can be found after program removal.

The interface of the tool is based on a standard window with a cluttered layout. You can import images into the file list by using only the file browser or folder view because the 'drag and drop' function is not supported.

The file queue displays various information about each item, including the source path, text, font, fading type to next picture, audio and rotation. Slide Show Movie Maker allows you to add an audio track, color fading and random fading, as well as select the text position, font, color and background color.

But you can also configure special picture settings (panorama scrolling, picture movement), synchronize the audio track with the photographs, as well as rotate objects, check the effects and preview the project.

The program runs on a moderate amount of system CPU and memory, has a good response time and manages to deliver movies with a good image and sound quality. No errors have been displayed during our tests and Slide Show Movie Maker did not freeze or crash.

On the downside, there is no help file available and the interface needs some major improvements in the layout department. First-time users may take a while to get familiarized with the features provided by Slide Show Movie Maker. No recent updates have been made.
