bcTester description
bcTester reads barcodes from imagesbcTester is an application that can read barcodes from images.
You can test the kind of information contained in a barcode. In addition to usual (linear) codes, newer 2D barcodes (PDF417 and Data Matrix) can also be recognized.
Increasingly, these codes appear whenever a large amount of data is to be encoded in a machine readable manner.
In addition, if you produce barcodes yourself, bcTester is an easy way to test their readability.
QS QualitySoft offers bcTester as freeware. QualitySoft specializes in software solutions for barcode recognition and data capturing.
