BandiView (formerly HoneyView)

While Windows comes with its own built-in image viewer, there are third-party applications that provide a broader feature set and support for a wider range of file formats.

Designed to be an enhanced image viewer, BandiView is the now re-branded HoneyView with additional features and extended compatibility with various graphic formats.

Upon launch, BandiView allows you to create new file associations for all the file formats it is compatible with.

To this regard, it is worth noting that it can open regular graphic formats, such as BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, PSD, TIFF, ICO, SVG, but it also comes with support for other file types, such as DDS, JXR, WebP, J2K, JP2, TGA, PCX, PGM, to name a few. Raw images can also be opened and previewed with BandiView.

And, if we are talking about file format compatibility, then you should also know that BandiView can also open archives, allowing you to view their contents and browse images. Many file formats are on the compatibility list here too, such as ZIP, RAR, 7Z, LZH, TAR, and more.

Compared to HoneyView, BandiView brings to the table exclusive features, such as HiDPI  support, color management for multiple monitors and support for images generated by Stable Diffusion. Moreover, it can display HDR images.

Playing slideshows is possible with BandiView with added effects and a custom display duration for each photo.

The built-in zoom tool allows you to view details up close, while the available filters, although not too many at all, allow you to enhance the photo’s appearance.  You can also rotate images and create bookmarks, which allows you to quickly jump to the image you viewed last in a folder with numerous pictures.

BandiView aims to provide an enhanced edition of the now-popular HoneyView, with no limits to the image resolution, extended support for an assortment of file formats and HDR compatibility.
