PixVue will make it really easy for you to add text to images.Simply select the images that you want to describe and select one of the items under the 'Annotate' menu item.
Add as much or as little as makes sense for you. PixVue puts this information to good use elsewhere. For example, the Copyright field to use for watermarking and all the fields can be used for renaming image files.
PixVue integrates with Windows Explorer and allows you to organize your images into virtual galleries - the original image remain in its location, but a thumbnail (and optional copy) are create in the gallery, which allows for additional annotation and extended search functionality.
You can even create slideshows to be burned on a CD (including the autorun files and viewer) and organize your images in galleries.
PixVue provides a number of ways in which to share your images with others.
Compiling images into a PDF is a simple matter of selecting the images in question and choosing the PixVue::Create::PDF menu item. The PDF produced will optionally include descriptive text, including date & time.
The PixVue::Create::PixVue Slideshow menu item will create a slide show that will automatically run from a CD-ROM without the need to install an additional software.
Finding images in Windows Explorer just got easier! PixVue makes it possible to search for images directly from within the Explorer's "Search Companion". Search for images using XMP/ IPTC metadata values, just like you would search for any other file type.
PixVue's Preview window is an ideal way to quickly sort through a batch of images. It provides for deleting, moving, copying and annotating images. Images may previewed either directly from the filesystem or from within 'My Galleries'.
PixVue's Galleries make image organization extremely simple. If you know how to use the Windows Explorer, you know how to use PixVue's Galleries. Create Galleries like you would create folders.
Add images to Galleries like you would add them to folders - using drag-n-drop or copy-n-paste. It's that simple! Your annotated images become instantly searchable thanks to PixVue's underlying database engine.
