BMP Picture Maker

As its name implies, BMP Picture Maker is a piece of software that you can use to convert multiple image types to the BMP format. It supports JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF, ICO and WMF, among others.

The tool is wrapped in a plain and easy-to-use interface. Importing an item can be done with the help of the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' functionality is not included. Unfortunately, you cannot process multiple images in a single session.

All you have to do is establish the output directory and filename, in order to proceed with the conversion procedure.

BMP Picture Maker allows you to customize some settings when it comes to the output width and height, pixel format, rotation and flip. You can apply text to the photograph and set its position and font.

The image processing tool runs on a low amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and includes user documentation. We have not come across any difficulties; no error dialogs have been displayed throughout our evaluation and BMP Picture Maker did not freeze or crash. The output files have a good image quality.
