Exorcist GIF to PNG

Exorcist GIF to PNG is a simple-to-use program with a self-explanatory title - it lets you convert GIF files to PNG file format.

The tool does not require installation, so Exorcist GIF to PNG is portable. In other words, you can store it on a USB flash drive and directly run the executable file on any computer. Also, your Windows registry items will remain intact.

The software application has a small and standard interface in which you can add GIFs by using the file browser or 'drag and drop' method. Batch processing is supported.

Once you import files, the conversion task will automatically begin and the output files will be placed in the same directory as the source images. During this time you can check out the number of processed files and images in the queue.

You can enable Exorcist GIF to PNG to create an interlaced PNG file, delete the source GIF file, as well as write histogram information and software chunks.

The program takes up very low system resources, includes a brief but well-drawn help file and didn't pop up errors during our tests.

The conversion task wouldn't start one time after we had added files via the "drag and drop" function. Also, there is no cancel button available and if you try to exit the program, it is possible that Exorcist GIF to PNG may freeze. Plus, you cannot set the output directory and name.

Exorcist GIF to PNG is easy enough to be used by individuals of all levels, although it comes with some glitches.
