PStill is not only a simple converter but offers features not available in other software. The application combines PDF creation with PDF reprocessing and supports N-UP processing and prepress options like CMYK color conversion, spot colors, overprinting control and PDF/X output.
It can also be used as Windows PDF printer, producing PDF directly from any application - even over the network.
Because PStill combines affordable and reliable PDF generation with a rich feature set. The imaging model of PDF is similar to PostScript and the PostScript conversion method of creating PDF offers very good quality - PStill works this way.
The 'virtual print server' feature makes PStill/Win unique, one PStill can be used from several workstations to centralize PDF creation - minimizing total costs and setup efforts.
Limitations:
· It will paint a watermark on each page it produces and will wait for 10 seconds before starting a conversion run.
