Image Converter 1.1
Convert images to any image formats or icons
The tool comes with a user-friendly interface where you can import items via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Processing multiple items in batch mode is allowed.
The file list offers some details about each entry, such as the file name and path. So, if you do not want to alter the default settings, then you can simply select the output directory and file type, in order to proceed with the conversion task.
In addition, you can select the background color, as well as change the icon and image size (custom values or preset). Plus, you can set Image Converter to keep the same size and scale, as well as remove an item from the list or clear the entire file queue.
Tasks are finished in a short period of time while Image Converter runs on a moderate amount of system resources. The tool is very responsive and outputs a good image quality after conversion and resizing. No errors have popped up during our testing and Image Converter did not freeze or crash.
On the downside, there is no help file available and the interface is outdated. You cannot specify the thread priority, preview images or set Image Converter to run in the background or to minimize to the system tray. No recent updates have been made.
