ABest MOV Video Converter is a program designed to help you encode video files from the MOV format to other extensions, such as AVI, MPEG, RM, WMV and FLV. It can be easily used by novices.
The interface of the application is plain and simple to navigate through. Video clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.
In the queue you can check out the source path, split span, frame size, output format and status of each video. All you have to do is establish the desired file type and output directory, in order to initiate the conversion process.
But you can also modify audio and video settings when it comes to the frame rate, codec, size, bit rate, bits per sample and others.
Additionally, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and take snapshots, enable ABest MOV Video Converter to automatically turn off the computer after encoding, as well as remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue.
The video encoding software runs on a moderate amount of system resources, takes reasonable time to complete a task and generally delivers a fair image and sound quality. However, it has a poor response time and you cannot disable program sounds. Also, ABest MOV Video Converter failed a couple of tasks during our tests (e.g. MOV-to-SWF). We recommend this tool with reservations.
