There are quite a few reasons why you would want to download a video from YouTube. Maybe you wish to practice a bit of editing, or maybe you’re not satisfied with your internet connection and would rather watch a video directly from your drive.

Like most tools designed to do one single thing, Kabuu Video Downloader is a very simple app. Unless  you’re satisfied with 128kbps MP3 audio, you’ll probably use Kabuu Video Downloader only to download videos. And only from YouTube.

Even though the software works well, it can’t download anything from Vimeo, Metacafe or Dailymotion. It is however very user-friendly; all you have to do is paste (Ctrl+V works as well) a YouTube link into the main interface, click the Download button and wait for it to create the new video file.

Luckily,  Kabuu Video Downloader isn’t limited to just downloading one video at a time. If you paste or add a playlist or user link, you’ll be able to download all the videos from that playlist, or only the ones you’re already interested in.

The default file format is MP4, which supports the maximum video quality of 1080p. Higher than that, you can only choose to save the file as a 1440p WEBM video, which probably won’t be enough for 4K fans.
