Fast MP4 3GP AVI MPG WMV RM MOV FLV Converter is a tool that lets you encode one video format to another.
After a brief installation, you can initiate the program with the user-friendly and straightforward interface, to view several converting options.
First you have to add a file, set its output destination, select profile and format settings, and start converting.
Besides the extensions mentioned in the title, this program supports several more, including TS, VOB, SWF and DV formats.
You can configure format settings, such as video codec, bitrate and frame rate, width and height, aspect radio, audio codec bitrate, sample rate and channels. Plus, you can use DirectShow, convert with subtitle, disable audio, and change interface language.
Unfortunately, the trial version comes with a few annoying limitations. Batch conversion as well as drag and drop are not supported, and you can only encode the first two minutes of a video.
The conversion process takes only a few seconds to complete, but the image quality is damaged. We have seen this when converting a WMV to AVI, as well as an AVI to a MOV file, and in other cases.
The program consumes a low amount of CPU and system resources, and is simple enough to be used by individuals of any experience level. Unfortunately, Fast MP4 3GP AVI MPG WMV RM MOV FLV Converter also has the aforementioned shortcomings, but it could receive some improvements in the future. Its full version price is very reasonable.
