ImTOO RM Converter is an application designed to help you encode video files of the RM and RMVB format to other extensions, such as AVI, MP3, MPEG, WAV and WMV.
The interface of the program is simple and easy to work with. Videos can be inserted into the list by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method (batch conversions are supported).
In the queue you can check out the name, duration, output profile and size, as well as status of each source video.
After you select the destination path and output profile, you can proceed with the conversion process.
Furthermore, you can modify audio and video options regarding quality, size, bit rate, frame rate, zoom, aspect ratio, bit rate tolerance, encode mode, sample frequency rate, channels, volume, VBR quality and others.
In addition, you can set the output name, split clips, preview the videos in a built-in media player, take snapshots, load an audio CD, view file properties, rename or clone files, check out a log window, hide unidentifiable items, set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, turn off computer) and enable ImTOO RM Converter to run in the background.
On top of that, you can use a bit rate calculator, change the interface skin, enable the tool to automatically check for updates, set the default snapshot format and folder, customize the CPU core number, and more.
The video converter uses a high amount of system resources and includes a brief step-by-step guide for novices. No errors have popped up during our tests, since ImTOO RM Converter ran smoothly. It quickly finishes a conversion job and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality in the output files. We highly recommend ImTOO RM Converter to all user levels.
