As the title of this software suggests, RMVB Converter allows you to encode video files with the RMVB format to other extensions, such as MPEG, WMV, MOV, 3GP and MP3.
The interface of the application is based on a standard window in which you can import videos via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and profile, in order to proceed with the encoding task.
The simple-to-use application takes up a very low amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality in the output videos. We haven't come across any issues during our tests, since RMVB Converter did not freeze, crash or pop up errors.
On the other hand, you cannot configure any kind of audio and video settings (e.g. sample frequency rate, aspect ratio, frame rate, channels, volume) or the program's behavior (e.g. enable RMVB Converter to automatically run at system startup). Plus, there is no help file available. We recommend RMVB Converter to users who are looking for a straightforward tool without complex functions.
