ArcSoft Video Stabilizer

Thanks to ArcSoft Video Stabilizer, there’s now a quick, simple way to repair digital video shaking right on your computer
ArcSoft Video Stabilizer is a program that can help you fix your videos clips that come with a "shaking” effect. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced users.

The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive. You can import a video clip with the AVI, MPG or MPEG format by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Unfortunately, you cannot work with multiple entries in a single session.

So, you can preview the original clip in a built-in media player along with its stabilized version. All you have to do is insert a fix on a specific section in the timeline, or simply set ArcSoft Video Stabilizer to fix the entire video.

Once you specify the output destination, filename and format (between the AVI, MPG and MPEG format), you can initialize the procedure. In addition, you can expand or contract the timeline.

The simple-to-use application has a good response time, includes instructions and delivers fair results considering the image quality. However, the tool was not able to load some AVI files during our tests. Plus, we would have liked to see support for additional file types (e.g. MP4, WMV, FLV, MOV), including HD videos. The tool has not been updated for a very long time.
