Face Fusion

Face Fusion will provide Kinect for Windows owners with an application guiding them through the process of 3D head scan making operation. The only necessary steps the users need to take after properly configuring the application to run on the target computer is turning their heads in front of the fixed Kinnect for Windows sensor, so that their face can be scanned and processed by the utility.

It is worth mentioning that users will need both the hardware and the SDK for Kinect in order to automatically track as well as isolate objects from other items in the scene. They will also be able to control the program using voice commands and export the end product in OBJ format for later use in other applications.

Among the several features of Face Fusion, users can identify Kinect Fusion to perform object scanning, automatic tracking and isolation of the face from other items that are currently in the scene, scan without needing another person to move the sensor around the subject, audio tone feedback of the scan progress that makes it easier to perform a scan without glancing at the screen and exporting the finished scan to an OBJ format that can be used in other applications.
