Free Video Cutter 1.1
Freeware to split and cut video file
This tool is very simple to use, so you shouldn't have any confusions related to its features. The interface is user-friendly.
So, you can import videos by using only the file browser, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
Once a video has been loaded, you can move two sliders to mark the starting and ending point.
Plus, you can set the precision level and disable Free Video Cutter from creating video thumbs, by accessing the "Options" menu.
Now all you have to do is select the output format between MPEG, DIVX, WMV, MOV, FLV and MP3 and save the video after specifying the output destination and name.
The video converter requires a low amount of system resources and finishes a splitting task in a short amount of time without alerting the user of any errors. The image and sound quality in the output files is fair.
On the other hand, Free Video Cutter took its time to load even a small AVI file of roughly 5 minutes during our tests. Also, you cannot play the video. All in all, Free Video Cutter is a very good program for cutting video clips and we strongly recommend it to all users.
