A custom build for FFmpeg on Windows, providing a powerful toolset for video and audio encoding, with lots of options to experiment with. #FFmpeg GUI #Video converter #Video encoder #FFmpeg #Converter #Encoder
One of the most popular video encoders out there, FFmpeg, stands at the heart of many converters and video processing tools. One of them is Moo0 FFmpeg, which provides a custom build of the original FFmpeg, with a few extra features to make it worth your while.
Just like the original FFmpeg, this reinterpretation software can only run in the command console, but don't worry: there is a comprehensive sample usage file and help options to explain how everything works.
By default, Moo0 FFmpeg sets the default working folder to the Desktop, but you can change this with a simple option.
Moving on, the FFmpeg commands are the ones you know from the original app, namely ffmpeg, ffprobe, and ffplay. The first is designed for seamless video and audio encoding, the second can retrieve relevant information about a multimedia file, while the latter offers access to a video and audio player that can load one of the supported file formats. And speaking of compatible formats, the range of file types Moo0 FFmpeg can work with is the same as in the case of FFmpeg: generous enough to fit all tastes. It can encode some of the most popular video files (AVI, FLV, MKV, MOV, MPG, OGG, M4V, and many more), load a plethora of audio files (3GP, AC3, AMR, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, MP4, OGG, WAVE, and so on), and provides support for various video codecs.
Moo0 FFmpeg inherits all the features of the original FFmpeg, which means you can perform video conversions at a specific bitrate, change the picture size, and modify the video codec to use. Several other features are available, starting with video filters, protocols and pixel formats, custom offsets, and so on.
FFmpeg is a powerful tool, so it is advisable to take the time to browse through all the options in the "help" command of ffmpeg, ffprobe, and ffplay, and experiment with each to use Moo0 FFmpeg at its full potential.
