As you may have inferred just by reading its name, this utility provides you with a very comfortable way of downloading the appropriate subtitles for your movies and TV series episodes for up to 10 languages like English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Turkish, and Swedish.

So convenient, in fact, that you only need to drag the movie in question from its original location onto the app's main window and everything is take care of in mere seconds. Even more impressive is the fact that this feature is not limited to just single files, as the app is more than capable of grabbing subtitles for multiple episodes in a single go, quite handy in those binge watch-worthy situations.

It also provides you with the possibility of manually searching and downloading the subtitles from the app's main window (even though we have found this feature to be quite unreliable).

Still, despite this small niggle, the application does a good job at finding the subtitles of almost everything you throw at it thanks to the fact that it uses the SubDB and OpenSubtitle APIs concomitantly.

All things considered, gSubs is a very useful application that should come in handy to all cinephiles who prefer the old-fashioned way of watching movies and TV series. It's not yet perfect, as mentioned before, the manual search feature is very much useless, however, there are lots of things to like about this app starting with the convenience it provides and ending with its modern and minimalist GUI.
