AVS Video Tools is a software pack that consists of three separate tools designed for video processing - AVS Capture Wizard, AVS DVDtoGO and AVS Video Converter.
The apps are wrapped in a user-friendly interface. AVS Capture Wizard allows you to record video from external devices, such as digital camcorders.
You can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the size, frame rate, input and format. AVS DVDtoGO lets you prepare DVD movies (full length or just a part of them) for PSP, iPod, Zen, PMP and others devices.
AVS Video Converter is designed to help you turn video files into AVI, MP4, 3GP, MPEG, MOV, WMV, RM, SWF and DVD videos. Items can be imported into the file list via the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Processing multiple entries at the same time is possible.
Experienced users can make audio and video modifications in regard to the format, frame size, frame rate, channel mode and sample rate. Settings can be saved to a new profile or restored to default. Plus, you can delete specific areas of the videos and split clips by markers or size.
All tools run on a high amount of system resources, are very responsive and finish a task in reasonable time. No error dialogs have been displayed throughout our testing and the apps did not freeze or crash. The output videos have a fair image and sound quality after conversion. No recent updates have been made to AVS Video Tools.
