Files you get to work with are limited to a few types of FLV that you either gather through the implemented file explorer, your media library or Internet Explorer cache. Sadly, it's not possible to just drag them over the main window. These are all displayed in a side panel, along with resolution, length, audio encoding and frames per second.

The overall process is simple, both because you only need to position videos on the timeline editor, as well as the lack of any other options to explore. If you want videos enhanced you need to do so before assembly, because the application doesn't come equipped with any effects or editing options whatsoever.

A file has its layers automatically split into audio and video when placed it on the timeline. This comes in handy in case you don't want to keep the sound, because you can import MP3 file to replace original audio background. You can also cut videos, which is used to replace the missing trim tool.

Export is done at the press of a button, under the same number of formats available for import, with an additional options for SWF. There aren't any quality settings to adjust, with the post process window only letting you pop up the default deployment folder. You can share the newly created video via email through a dedicated button.

To sum it up, we expected a little more from Moyea FLV Editor Ultimate, or at least a couple of effects, transitions or even some basic editing tools, since it's a video editing app. The design is modern and highly-intuitive, with the result being delivered in the blink of an eye. If requirements aren't too demanding, this utility can be used to set up a FLV video in no time.
