Quick AVI Creator is an application that you can use to seamlessly convert several file extensions (including ASF, WMV, MPG, AVI and FLV) to the AVI, MP4 and MKV format.

Installing Quick AVI Creator is very easy but the tool has to install some third-party components that it needs to work properly.

The interface of the program consists of a standard window in which you can import media by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" method and batch processing are not supported).

In addition, you can select the format for the output directory, name and container (e.g. AVI - XviD video encoder, MKV - x264 video encoder), audio and subtitle tracks.

But you can also set Quick AVI Creator to retain existing audio encoding (e.g. Advanced Audio Coding AAC), do not hardcode subtitles (only include), as well as to delete temporary files and exit the program when it finishes.

The software completes a task in a reasonable amount of time while using a moderate amount of system resources. A help file is not available.

Although errors have not popped up during our tests, we couldn't open some of the output videos (e.g. ASF-to-AVI). Otherwise, the image and sound quality is well maintained. We suggest you test this software for yourself. Quick AVI Creator can be easily used, by both novices and experienced individuals.
