Ultra Video Joiner is an application that can merge and convert video files of various formats, including AVI, ASF, FLV, MP4 and MOV.

The user interface of the program is clean and intuitive. You can use the file browser to add videos to the queue (the "drag and drop" method is not supported but batch processing is).

In the list you can view the resolution, start time, end time and status for each source file.

So, you can select the output format and directory, and preview the video in a small window on the bottom left corner of the screen.

Furthermore, you can select the video quality and size, as well as audio quality and volume, and optionally add a letterbox in order to keep the original aspect.

But you can also add a subtitle, select the audio track and use a tool to cut videos (by marking the starting and ending point). Moreover, you can specify the action to take after conversion finishes (e.g. open output folder, shut down the computer), as well as select the interface language and font size.

In the "Settings" menu, you can select the decoder engine, process priority class and CPU core number in converting, as well as deinterlace the source video. Also, you can configure additional audio and video options, such as codecs, frame rate, aspect rate and sample frequency rate.

The program uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a step-by-step tutorial with snapshots and quickly finishes a task while preserving a good image and sound quality.

However, the application crashed a few times when attempting to convert video files (in our case, RM and RMVB) and the demo version has some severe limitations, unfortunately. Otherwise, Ultra Video Joiner is very simple to use and we recommend it to all individuals.
