Blu Ray Player 1.0
Play Blu Ray disk videos with this application.
The interface of the tool is clean and easy to navigate through. You can import media by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
So, you can use basic media player tools such as pause and stop, navigate back and forth within the track, adjust the volume and switch to full screen mode.
But you can also advance in the clip one frame at a time, load subtitles, as well as increase or decrease the frame size and speed.
In addition, you can set the subtitle delay and position, take a screenshot, change the aspect ratio, synchronize the audio with the video, set file associations, create and view a playlist, as well as enable Blu Ray Player to always be on top of other applications.
The application requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, supports few keyboard shortcuts and didn't freeze or crash during our tests. There is no help file available but that's because the tool is extremely simple to use, even by novices.
However, Blu Ray Player failed to read an MKV file due to some unknown error. Also, it doesn't come with any kind of settings for image editing (e.g. adjust brightness, contrast and saturation).
All in all, Blu Ray Player comes with the necessary and suffice elements for a media player and we strongly recommend it to players who are looking for a straightforward software.
