Fusion Media Player is an application that you can use to play media files of various extensions, including AVI, ASF, MPG, WMV, MP3 and WAV.
The interface of the media player is clean and intuitive. Files can be opened by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
So, you can use basic media player tools, such as pause and stop, go to the next or previous track, adjust the volume, switch to full screen mode and navigate back and forth within the clip.
But you can also create a playlist, add bookmarks, open a URL, take snapshots, change the viewing mode (normal, compact video or audio mode), change the aspect ratio and set the playback rate.
Furthermore, you can enable Fusion Media Player to stay on top of other applications, to exit the program or shut down the computer once the playback ends, make file associations, configure proxy settings, and more.
The program runs on a moderate amount of system resources, supports several keyboard shortcuts and ran smoothly during our tests. We haven't encountered any type of errors. However, some important functions are missing.
For example, you cannot load subtitles or modify image settings (e.g. brightness, contrast, saturation). Nevertheless, we strongly recommend Fusion Media Player to all users who are looking for a straightforward application.
