Magic Player is a simple-to-use tool that enables you to play video clips. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced individuals.
This is a portable application, so installing Magic Player is not necessary. It means that you can store the program on a removable device (like a USB flash drive), save it to any computer and directly run its executable file.
More importantly, no changes are made to the Windows registry and no leftover files can be found after program removal.
The interface of Magic Player is based on a small window with a dull layout. You can import a video clip by using either the file browser or 'drag and drop' method.
So, you can use basic media player functions, such as pause and stop, navigate back and forth within the track, adjust the volume level and switch to full screen mode. In addition, you can create and save a playlist, minimize Magic Player to the system tray and load a video from CD.
The simplistic app runs on a massive amount of CPU and system memory, considering its limited features. It has a good response time and supports keyboard shortcuts. We have not come across any issues during our tests; Magic Player did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. However, the tool has not been updated for a long time. Nevertheless, thanks to its intuitive layout, first-time users can easily work with this app.
